Position: Software Developer

Location: Ottawa, ON

Compusult is expanding its operations in the Ottawa Region to better serve our federal government customer base. Compusult is a trusted, innovative Canadian IT company with over 40 years of experience delivering software and systems to national and international clients across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in aerospace, defense, and geospatial intelligence.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must be based in the Ottawa Region, or willing to relocate, and be able to provide on-site development and support to our customers. Due to the nature of our contracts, candidates must be Canadian citizens and eligible to obtain the required Canadian security clearance.

Competencies and Tools that Apply:

· Microsoft (MS) Visual Studio (VS), Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Planner and Power BI

· Azure DevOps – including Git Repos

· .NET platform including C# for building cross-platform apps

· Visual Studio

Other Relevant Experience:

· Web, mobile, geospatial and data-driven applications

· Mapping, spatial analytics and location-based services

· Records, Document and Information Management System (RDIMS)

· Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS)

· Oracle Application Express (APEX)

· Oracle SQL Developer

· Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

· Experience in software development with a focus on web applications

· Ability to work on-premise for Ottawa region-based clients

· Canadian citizenship and eligibility for Canadian security clearance

· Occasional travel

Responsibilities:

· Work in a team environment to design, build, test, and refine modern software solutions

· Participate in peer reviews, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers

· Work closely with customers to achieve specified goals
