Software Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Developer with strong experience in Laravel (PHP Framework) and JavaScript to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

We are looking for someone who is technically proficient, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of code quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with team members to plan, develop, and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Work with databases to manage and optimize application data.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous application improvements.
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in software development or web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP Framework).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+, AJAX, JSON, Fetch API, and jQuery.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, or similar front-end technologies.
• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills. (C2 Level)
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• Comfortable working full-time during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or development teams.
• Familiarity with application deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in an Agile or collaborative development environment.
• Ability to manage multiple development tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: From Php45,000.00 per month
