About this vacancy

• You will install, configure, and update database servers such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle, managing instances, backups, and restores.
• You will develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and SQL scripts.
• You will manage installation scripts and database deployments.
• You will optimize table structures, indexes, and queries to ensure high performance, with ongoing monitoring and tuning.
• You will apply database security and hardening policies.
• You will analyze and resolve anomalies in data, queries, and transactions.
• You will collaborate with developers and system administrators in designing efficient data schemas and documenting procedures.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later), MySQL, and Oracle.
• Excellent command of SQL, complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience in administration and performance tuning: indexing, partitioning, backup & restore.
• Basic knowledge of networking and database security; troubleshooting skills.
• Considered a plus: ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS), script version control, automation in PowerShell or Bash, mission-critical environments.
• Willingness to work in environments requiring the handling of confidential information in the defense sector.
• Italian C2, English B2

What you can expect from us

The position entails a permanent contract, and the offered gross annual salary (RAL) will not be lower than €33,000, in accordance with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to proposing a competitive compensation package, and at the end of the selection process, based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, a final RAL higher than the aforementioned level may be offered.

In adherence to our business model, the final compensation package also includes a component of direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual skills development budget of €4,000 net per year, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with the company's current policies.
