Software Developer – .NET / Angular

Title: Software Developer - .NET / Angular Location: 100% Onsite in Annapolis, MD

Duration: 6 months, multiple extensions

Compensation: $65/ hour W2

Work Requirements: US Citizen Only

Position Overview: We are seeking a Software Developer to build, enhance, and support business applications, web services, and APIs in a collaborative Agile environment. This role will work closely with business analysts, QA, data resources, and other developers to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with both Angular and Microsoft .NET technologies and is comfortable working across front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using Angular and .NET technologies.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend application services.
• Integrate applications with SQL Server stored procedures and other data-layer components.
• Translate business and technical requirements into functional software solutions.
• Partner with QA team members to investigate defects, troubleshoot issues, and support testing activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, refinement sessions, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Diagnose and resolve application performance and functionality issues.
• Assist with application deployments and automated delivery processes through Azure DevOps.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation related to applications, APIs, and development processes.

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on Angular development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with .NET / ASP.NET Core and C#.
• .NET 8
• Angular 18 or newer
• Experience designing, developing, or supporting REST APIs.
• Knowledge of API authentication, authorization, and security concepts.
• Experience with technologies such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or comparable authentication frameworks.
• Experience working within an Agile or Scrum development environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
