Software Developer (.NET)

We are looking for a Software Developer (.NET) for a key client based in Poland .

📍This position is mainly remote , but candidates must be based within 2h by car from Warsaw .

Main tasks:

• Designs and develops the system
• Lead development teams
• Translates requirements into design
• Optimizes software from performance, security and quality points of view
• Produces technical documentation
• Estimates effort and time for development
• Sets software development standards
• Propose technical solutions for business needs and technical problems
• Collects and interprets software metrics
• Manages configuration and releases
• Contributes to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, deployment
• Tests solutions and develops testing tools
• Documents developments
• Prototypes solutions
• Acts as 2nd and 3rd line support

👇 REQUIREMENTS (all mandatory)

Knowledge and skills:

1. Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the solution .
2. Expert in developing enterprise level software systems .
3. Knows UML and can design applications in UML .
4. Proficient in designing and developing: data layer, business logic layer and UI layer .
5. Worked in Scrum developments .

Specific requirements

1. Proven development and support of enterprise web applications on .NET (Core / 8) with C# , Entity Framework and SQL Server , and of React/TypeScript single-page applications , including build and deployment through Azure DevOps Pipelines .
2. Hands-on experience with deployment and operation of applications on Windows/IIS and container or virtualised platforms (Nutanix / OpenShift) , background-job frameworks (e.g. Hangfire ), ASP.NET Core Data Protection and certificate management , and with security-scan (Checkmarx) and penetration-test remediation .
3. Experience integrating applications with SAML 2.0 / Entra ID , PDF and image-processing libraries and document-management interfaces , and with taking over a code base delivered by an external contractor ( code review, technical-debt management, third-line support ).
4. Experience supporting production systems in a large organization context ( release management through a Change Advisory Board, UAT support, incident analysis ) and readiness to work alongside a 3rd party development contractor during its third-level-support period.

Minimum experience:

• Minimum 6 years of professional IT experience , of which at least 3 years must be relevant to this role .

Certifications:

• At least 1 advanced level certificate in software development (or equivalent).

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of higher education.

Language:

• English (min. B2-level )
