Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, application development, or a closely related field
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: PL/SQL, SQL, VB.NET, Java, C, or Unix shell scripting
• Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
• Expertise in developing, troubleshooting, and supporting business applications in production environments
• Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and identify root causes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Proven ability to complete projects on time and provide effective ongoing application support
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions in business-friendly language

Preferred

• Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• Familiarity with CLEO Integration Cloud or similar integration platforms
• Proficiency in EDI processes, including troubleshooting and supporting customer or supplier integrations
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, or supply chain environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and implement new custom software applications and enhancements.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing custom applications to improve reliability, performance, and usability.
• Support and enhance applications and processes built around Oracle E-Business Suite and related technologies.
• Analyze application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements, evaluate alternatives, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations among internal applications, customers, suppliers, and third-party systems.
• Manage EDI processes and troubleshoot integration-related issues.
• Follow established development, testing, documentation, and change-management processes.
• Provide timely support for critical business applications and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities to enhance application functionality, automate manual processes, and improve operational efficiency.
