Software Developer – Oracle Forms & Reports (3–5 years)

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Software Developers with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Forms and Reports. The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications. Preference will be given to candidates who also have working knowledge of .NET Core.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms and Reports
• Write and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
• Design and develop complex reports using Oracle Reports
• Perform performance tuning of Forms, Reports, and SQL/PLSQL code
• Support existing applications including bug fixing, enhancements, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and unit test cases
• Work on integration and enhancements involving modern technologies (preferably .NET Core)
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle Forms and Reports
• Solid experience in Oracle PL/SQL
• Good understanding of Oracle Database concepts
• Experience in developing and customizing complex Forms and Reports
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of .NET Core
• Experience with Oracle Application Server / WebLogic
• Exposure to version control systems (Git / SVN)
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
