Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, C++, and Ruby on Rails.
• Lead the development of web-based solutions utilizing front-end frameworks and back-end APIs, ensuring seamless user experiences and reliable data integration.
• Build and optimize databases with SQL, MySQL, and other data management tools to support application functionality and performance.
• Implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services to enhance scalability, security, and deployment efficiency.
• Develop RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange across platforms.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code via GitHub or SVN repositories, and continuously improve development processes.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers to foster a high-performing technical environment.
• Ensure applications are compatible across Linux environments and adhere to best practices in application security and performance tuning.

Experience

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in web development, application architecture, and system integration.
• Extensive knowledge of programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and.NET frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies like JavaScript along with REST API design principles.
• Proficiency working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Experience using version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for collaborative code management.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases including MySQL for data modeling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems for deployment and troubleshooting purposes.
