Software Developer Test Engineer (SDET)

Infospoke is looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, and software quality engineering. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality software releases.

This is a 3 months (extendable) contractual role with Infospoke & completely "Remote".

Role - SDET Engineer

Location - Hyderabad/Remote

Employment Type: Contractual

Experience: 5 + years

Joining: "Immediate Joiners Only"

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Automate Web and API testing.

Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment.

Analyze test failures and troubleshoot automation issues.

Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.

Required Skills:

5 plus years of experience in SDET / Test Automation.

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.

Good programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong experience in API testing REST / Postman / REST Assured.

Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Experience with Git/GitLab/GitHub.

Exposure to Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum.

Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools.

Good to Have

Microservices testing

Docker/Kubernetes

AWS/Azure/GCP

Performance testing - JMeter

FinTech/Banking domain experience
