Software Developer – Web/Cloud Application, Co-op

Location: Richmond, BC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 4 days on site (Monday to Thursday)

Responsibilities:

You will contribute to the on-time delivery of stable, production-ready software for the ALMS platform.

• Analyzing requirements and translating them into reliable software designs
• Implementing and testing features across the ALMS stack·
• Integrating and configuring sub-systems within a cloud-native environment Writing clear documentation for the features you own.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (software focus)

Desired Qualifications:

• Java and/or JavaScript application development
• Linux-based software development
• Web application development
• Core AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda) and Docker containers
• Takes initiative, seeks out challenges, and manages risk pragmatically
• Self-starter with strong communication skills Collaborative team player who takes pride in both team and personal accomplishments.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $25 - $28.5 hourly.
