Software Development Engineer 1

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic Software Developer Graduates with a strong foundation in programming, web development, cloud technologies, and problem-solving. This role offers an opportunity to work on full-stack applications, modern cloud-native solutions, and emerging AI-powered technologies while learning from experienced engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#/.NET and modern web technologies.
• Assist in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Support the development of scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Adopt coding best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code under the guidance of senior engineers.

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build reusable UI components and improve user experience.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Ensure applications work effectively across browsers and devices.

Cloud & Database Technologies

• Learn and work with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, and Storage.
• Assist in deploying and supporting cloud-hosted applications.
• Work with SQL Server databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
• Understand cloud-native development concepts and practices.

AI & Automation

• Explore AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar productivity tools.
• Support the development of AI-powered features and automation solutions.
• Learn fundamentals of Generative AI, prompt engineering, and intelligent workflows.
• Participate in innovation initiatives involving emerging AI technologies.

Engineering Excellence

• Learn software engineering principles including Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of C#, .NET, Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of REST API concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Academic projects or internships involving web application development
• Exposure to Angular, ReactJS, or other frontend frameworks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, or prompt engineering
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Docker containers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Fresh graduates from 2025 or 2026 batches
• Strong academic background with demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Passion for software development and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and learning agility
