What Youll Actually Do

• Own outcomes, not just tickets. Get close to real user behavior and turn every release into a measurable improvement in experience.
• Drive the architecture, not just the implementation. Take end-to-end ownership of delivery and solution architecture for your feature area - design systems that are scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant by default.
• Think in HLDs and LLDs. Translate ambiguous, complex backend problems into clean, well-reasoned designs - and then build them.
• Obsess over API performance. Push for best-in-class response times and reliability across every feature you touch.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar on code quality through reviews and design discussions.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and deploying large-scale applications.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and OOPs, with solid command of concurrency and multi-threading.
• Proficiency in Java, with GoLang or Python as a strong plus.
• Comfort modeling data across both relational and NoSQL databases.
• The ability to design and ship low-latency RESTful services that hold up under real traffic.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and distributed queue systems like Kafka.
• A habit of refactoring and improving systems continuously - not letting technical debt pile up.
• Genuine curiosity and a hunger for hard problems.

• Youve ridden the wave of rapid company growth - startup to mid-size - and know what breaks (and what to fix) along the way.
