Software Development Engineer (软件开发工程师)

Join our engineering team to develop innovative software for industrial automation, LED test systems, and machine vision solutions.

Depending on business needs, the position may be assigned to one of the following teams:

1. Equipment Automation Team

Develop software for industrial automation machines and equipment control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop machine control software, HMI, and automation applications.
• Design and implement machine sequence control, motion control, and servo systems.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, robots, RFID, barcode readers, and laser marking systems.
• Develop industrial communication interfaces (OPC UA, TCP/IP, Modbus, EtherCAT, etc.).
• Support equipment data collection, production reporting, machine safety, alarms, and recovery logic.

2. LED Tester Team

Develop software for automated test equipment used in LED and semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automated test sequences and production test software.
• Integrate instruments and measurement devices.
• Develop data acquisition, yield analysis, binning, and production traceability functions.
• Improve test accuracy, repeatability, and overall system performance.
• Interface with test hardware, handlers, sensors, and external systems.

3. Machine Vision Team

Develop software for machine vision inspection, alignment, and measurement applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D/3D vision inspection and image processing applications.
• Configure cameras, lenses, lighting, and vision sensors.
• Develop software feature for vision calibration, coordinate transformation, and robot guidance.
• Develop vision applications using Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, OpenCV, or similar platforms.
• Optimize inspection algorithms for OCR, defect detection, measurement, and pattern matching.

General Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software based on customer requirements and company standards.
• Perform software integration, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Vision, Tester, Project, and Production teams.
• Support machine installation and provide technical support at MMS and customer sites (local and overseas).
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Intermediate: Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
• Senior: Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C#.NET, C++, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of WPF, MVVM, SQL Server, and industrial software development will be an added advantage.
• Experience in industrial automation, machine vision, LED/semiconductor test systems, robotics, motion control, or industrial communication protocols is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work hands-on during testing, debugging, commissioning, and customer support.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas when required.
