Job Summary

EZ Micro Solutions is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and technical solutions. This role works with development and technical teams to build reliable applications, troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and support ongoing software projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Develop and integrate APIs, databases, and application services
• Troubleshoot software defects and resolve technical issues
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and application maintenance
• Collaborate with developers, IT specialists, and project teams
• Participate in software design, development, and deployment activities
• Monitor application performance and assist with system improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and development records
• Follow software development, security, and quality standards
• Perform additional engineering and development duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field preferred
• Previous software development or engineering experience preferred
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle practices
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, version control, and testing
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern programming languages and development frameworks
• Knowledge of web, cloud, or application development
• Familiarity with Git and software version-control systems
• Understanding of database design and SQL
• Knowledge of automated testing or CI/CD practices
• Strong debugging and application optimization skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and development tools
