Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, experience in API development, database management, and a good understanding of backend architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend services and applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Work with databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, and manage data efficiently.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Develop unit tests and support integration testing.
• Use Git and version control tools to manage code changes.
• Contribute to application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language, such as Java, Python, C#.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth.
• Knowledge of Git, debugging, and code optimization.
• Familiarity with unit testing and API testing.
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Redis, message queues, or caching mechanisms.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
