What they need
Description Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites delivering low-latency, high-speed broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.
This role offers a rare opportunity to work like a startup within Amazon on one of our most exciting new initiatives. You will partner with Amazon's supply chain, Trades, and Leo Commerce engineering teams to design and build the applications and services that power global supply chain operations for Amazon Leo - even in countries where Amazon does not currently operate. Your work will directly shape how customers around the world access and receive Leo's hardware, connecting them to our satellite network.
Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable software components across the full development lifecycle - scoping, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance - for Leo's Commerce Services and supply chain applications.

Have you wanted to build the software and services behind an advanced global telecom network? In this role, you will design, build, and maintain critical components of Amazon Leo, contributing to a mission that brings connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.
About The Team The Leo Fulfillment Technology team builds the engineering solutions that enable global supply chain operations and deliver the best customer experience for shipping Amazon Leo's hardware - the gateway for customers to connect to the Leo satellite network.
Our team combines the innovation and agility of a startup with the resources and scale of Amazon. We foster a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning, where engineers at all levels share knowledge and grow together. You will work on challenging problems with meaningful global impact.
