As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery, focusing on JavaScript and TypeScript stack. You will lead the creation of robust API and load test suites using Rest Assured and K6, while also automating front‑end interactions with Playwright to validate user experiences across multiple browsers. Working closely with product and development teams, you will translate functional requirements into scalable, reusable test modules, implement continuous integration pipelines, and drive test coverage improvements. Your role will also involve troubleshooting test failures, providing detailed defect analysis, and mentoring junior QA engineers to adopt best practices and emerging testing tools. By integrating cutting‑edge validation techniques, you will help maintain the reliability and performance standards essential for our rapidly evolving product suite.

Requirements 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test automation solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Develop and maintain API test suites with Rest Assured, ensuring comprehensive coverage of RESTful services
• Create performance and load test scenarios using K6, analyzing results to optimize application scalability
• Automate browser interactions and UI validations with Playwright across multiple platforms
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid feedback cycles for developers
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into testable specifications
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and provide actionable insights to product and development teams
• Mentor and review peer test code, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Stay current with industry trends, evaluating new tools and frameworks for potential adoption
• Document test architecture, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern test automation frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with API testing using Rest Assured or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of performance testing with K6 or similar load testing platforms
• Practical expertise using Playwright for automated browser testing
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on testing technologies
