Software Development Engineer || w2

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate secure, scalable backend services (primarily in Go) for innovative, always-on software products.
• Build REST API services and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Work on full-stack solutions, contributing to both backend and frontend (Go, Node.js, Java, or C#).
• Develop and maintain production-grade applications in cloud environments (AWS), including setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage generative AI tools for accelerating development, automating coding tasks, and enhancing product design.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers from concept through launch.
• Architect distributed applications using microservices or serverless patterns in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, automated testing, and security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Integrate security checks and compliance requirements into all stages of software development.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and apply industry-leading tools, frameworks, and best practices to foster innovation and technical excellence.
• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be local to McLean, VA (hybrid, 3 days onsite).
• Preferred: Master s degree and at least 2 AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Associate).
