What they need
- Reporting to the VP, Corporate Strategy, you’ll build internal products, automations, and workflows that improve how teams across the business operate
- Around 80% of your time will focus on hands-on engineering: understanding business needs, building the tools yourself, and helping teams put them into use
- The remaining 20% will focus on internal consulting, acting as a sounding board for leadership on software development benchmarks and best practices
- Build internal products and automations: Work with teams across the company to identify useful internal projects and write the software that delivers them
- Roll out tools that teams use: Help teams adopt the tools you build, with a focus on improving their day-to-day work and delivering business impact
- Process and tooling improvements: Examine and improve internal tooling, data flows, and processes, including end-to-end data architecture, starting with sales
- Internal consulting on engineering practices: Advise leadership on software development benchmarks and best practices, drawing on your own experience building and delivering software
- Cross-functional alignment: Translate between business needs and technical decisions, and communicate clearly with engineering, product, and other teams- Comfortable moving between strategy conversations and shipping code in the same week
- Dialed into modern engineering and product practices
- Confident operator - you can walk into any function, diagnose what’s broken, and drive change
- Strong change management instincts - you can win over skeptical teams and make new ways of working stick
- Beyond engineering, you’ll have direct working experience of working with Generative AI tools to deploy Functionallity or Enablement within an organisation
- 5+ years of experience with a senior engineer or product manager background from a top tech company building complex products
- Strong hands-on building skills. you ship working software, not just diagrams. AI fluency is essential (LLMs, automation, modern AI tooling)
