Our client, a leading Insurer, is seeking an experienced technology leader to help drive the transformation of their core insurance platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the modernization of a legacy environment while shaping the future technology landscape of a well-established organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• Play a key role in a long-term transformation programme focused on modernising core insurance technology
• Help guide the evolution of legacy applications into a more flexible, cloud-enabled environment
• Provide technical leadership and support across development teams, with expertise in .NET, Java, or Python
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with both local and offshore engineering resources
• Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned to business needs
• Work closely with stakeholders across technology, data, infrastructure, and the wider business to drive strategic initiatives
• Encourage the adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Previous experience leading projects, mentoring developers, or managing teams
• Strong hands-on development background in .NET, Java, or Python
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Exposure to large-scale system transformation, migration, or modernisation programmes
• Property & Casualty insurance experience is essential

Role Details

• Hybrid working arrangement with an office location just south of Boston
• Competitive salary of $120,000-$150,000
• Comprehensive package including bonus, profit sharing, 401(k) match, pension contributions, and strong healthcare coverage

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
