Duties

• Lead and mentor cross-functional software development teams specializing in web development, backend systems, and front-end interfaces utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React and Express.
• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable microservices architectures using RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability and performance across cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
• Drive the adoption of Agile software development methodologies to optimize project delivery cycles, improve collaboration, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements, system architecture, and development roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Establish best practices for software engineering including system design patterns, version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
• Ensure security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) are integrated into system design for data protection and compliance.
• Monitor system performance metrics; troubleshoot issues; implement improvements for scalability using technologies like Java, C#, Python, C++, VBA, and C.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing software development teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on web applications and enterprise systems.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure including cloud services (AWS, Azure), Linux environments, and network architecture fundamentals.
• Extensive knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript (React, Express), Java, Python, C#, C++, VBA,.NET frameworks, and SQL databases like MySQL and MySQL variants.
• Hands-on experience designing scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, design patterns, and system design principles for large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git or SVN; experience managing code repositories for collaborative development.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders while leading technical decision-making processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; advanced certifications in cloud infrastructure or software architecture are a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
