Software Development Manager [near MRT]

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Software Development Manager to lead our software engineering team, oversee application architecture, and drive the delivery of our web, mobile, and core business systems.

In this role, you will bridge technical execution with business strategy managing a team of developers, enforcing software engineering best practices, leading system enhancements via Change Requests, and ensuring robust cybersecurity and high-performance operations across all company platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and resource a engineering team of web, mobile, and backend developers.
• Manage project workflows, sprint planning, and task allocations using Agile development methodologies.
• Drive performance management, technical growth, and continuous learning within the development team.

Technical Direction & Architecture

• Oversee the end-to-end architecture, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications (built on .NET, Flutter, and 3-tier architecture).
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, design patterns, secure coding standards, and system security protocols.
• Review system documentation, technical design specifications, and code written by team members to maintain high quality and scalability.

Delivery, Support & Stakeholder Management

• Manage the application lifecycle for core systems, including company system and company mobile apps, ensuring continuous stability and optimal performance.
• Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, test script validation, and release management to ensure bug-free deployments.
• Lead the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of Change Requests (CRs) for system enhancements aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business users, cross-functional department leads, and external vendors to translate functional requirements into technical roadmaps.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a technical lead, supervisory, or management role.
• Strong background in building and delivering web and mobile solutions using .NET, Flutter, RESTful APIs, and relational databases.

Technical Skills & Architecture

• Proven experience in 3-tier architecture design, API design, and mobile app ecosystem management.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity, secure SDLC, and application vulnerability remediation.
