We’re looking for a Software Development Project Manager in Tallinn (or Tartu) who wants to lead exciting IT projects that matter to Estonia and contribute to launching new projects.

In this role, you will manage several IT projects in parallel, keeping track of deadlines, workload, and agreements while acting as the key link between our clients and development teams. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to public procurement processes and tender preparation.

We’re looking for someone who is independent, responsible, and systematic , enjoys working with people, and is equally comfortable working with documentation and details.

Your key responsibilities

✔️ IT project management and coordination

Manage several projects in parallel, plan and monitor activities, deadlines, and workloads, and maintain a clear overview of project progress.

✔️ Client and team communication

Act as the key link between clients, development teams, and other stakeholders. Organize necessary meetings and ensure that agreements, responsibilities, and next steps are clear to everyone involved.

✔️ Risk and issue management

Identify project risks and potential obstacles early and coordinate their resolution to keep projects moving in the agreed direction and on schedule.

✔️ Project documentation

Prepare and manage project-related documentation, reports, agreements, and other information required by clients.

✔️ Public procurement and tenders

Contribute to public procurement processes and tender preparation by reviewing procurement terms and requirements and coordinating the preparation of CVs, references, and other required documentation.

What we’re looking for:

👉 At least 3 years of professional experience in IT and project management

👉 Excellent MS Excel skills

👉 Independence, initiative, and a desire to grow

👉 Excellent communication and negotiation skills

👉 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

👉 Ability to act quickly and effectively in changing situations

👉 Ability to see the bigger picture and understand the connections between systems, workflows, and stakeholders

👉 Results-oriented and systematic approach , with strong time management skills

👉 Excellent spoken and written Estonian and English

Nice to have:

👉 Experience managing public sector projects

👉 Previous experience with public procurement or tender preparation

👉 A relevant higher education degree in IT (may still be in progress)
