Software DevOps Architect

Position Title: Software DevOps Architect

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Software DevOps Architect opportunity located in Dulles, VA

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical support for customer deployments, working remotely (unclassified) and onsite at the customer location 2–3 days per week
• Deploy code, diagnose issues, and architect solutions in classified test environments
• Troubleshoot customer problems onsite with little or no reachback support
• Support all aspects of building, testing, deploying, and releasing software
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of mission system software
• Deploy and troubleshoot .NET Core applications on Linux
• Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Support enterprise Single Sign-On integrations (OAuth, SAML, Active Directory), network security, and firewall configurations
• Help define requirements, then design, execute, and test practical solutions on a fast-paced product team

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to work onsite multiple days per week while working mostly from home
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong software development background, with experience current enough to troubleshoot hands-on
• Experience with continuous integration, cloud compute, virtualization, containers, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET Core, standard builds, source control, and bug tracking
• Experience in operational IT disciplines such as security, infrastructure, and networking
• Experience solving challenging problems independently
• Preferred: C#, command line scripting, relational and object databases, and Infrastructure as Code (Shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Preferred: Interest or experience in DevOps

• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Dulles, VA (Hybrid)
• Pay Rate Range: $230K-$275K
• Required US Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and maybe required to obtain and maintain a CI or Full Scope Polygraph
