Software (DevOps) Engineer

Plexus has teamed up with a confidential digital asset firm building institutional infrastructure across DeFi.

Our trading and risk teams make daily decisions from AI-built dashboards and a risk system that are now business-critical and no longer fully understood. You will own them: fix, refactor or rewrite, and connect them to our engineering and research databases. Little new feature work.

Confidential employer | Remote (European time zone preferred) | Full-Time | 2–5 years’ experience

What You’ll Do:

• Own the dashboards and risk system end to end, starting with the risk management system
• Decide what to refactor, rebuild or leave in AI-generated code
• Connect to a single source of truth for position, market and risk data
• Add testing, CI/CD, dev/staging/prod, monitoring and alerting
• Flag numbers that look wrong

Required:

• CS degree with strong data structures and databases
• 2–5 years’ software engineering; Python primary, Node secondary
• Can read, refactor and own AI-generated code; daily AI coding tool use
• Experience with databases, REST/WebSocket APIs, CI/CD and dev/staging/prod
• Strong with financial data presentation

Strongly preferred:

• Crypto or digital asset experience
• Financial dashboards, trading or risk systems
• DevOps/SRE leaning
