Software Engineer (6 months contract)

Software Developer – eGate Project

Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Location: Joo Koon Office

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and maintain software applications for eGate systems.
• Work with different teams, vendors and third-party technology providers to support system development and integration.
• Perform software integration, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Support system integration, onsite testing and commissioning when required.
• Work with APIs, databases and various hardware/devices as part of the project.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in software development using C#, C++, Java, Python or other programming languages.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software development principles.
• Experience with APIs, databases and software integration.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other source-control systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to work with different teams, vendors and third-party technology providers.
• Willing to support system integration, testing and onsite commissioning when required.
