About the Opportunity:

The SOFTWARE ENGINEER - AGENT TEAM is responsible for developing and enhancing the cloud-native endpoint management platform that supports millions of global agents. The role involves creating scalable, secure, and autonomous solutions that improve communication and functionality within the platform. This position contributes to the organization’s ability to deliver reliable, high-performance SaaS applications and directly impacts the secure management of endpoints worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, and secure solutions facilitating communication with millions of deployed agents.
• Extend and evolve event-driven services to introduce new platform and endpoint features.
• Participate in continuous improvement through testing, performance tuning, refactoring, and automation.
• Evaluate technical options and make recommendations that encourage feedback and iteration.
• Maintain a quality-first approach with strong testing practices.
• Make data-driven development decisions before production deployment.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications in a high availability SaaS environment.
• Programming experience in Golang or Java; versatility in multiple languages is valued.
• Professional experience shipping frontend features using TypeScript in modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building production applications in cloud environments (AWS) with a focus on security best practices.
• Familiarity with scaling microservice architectures, real-time messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, MQTT), websockets, non-relational databases like DynamoDB, and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional remote teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building desktop or cross-platform applications.
• Experience with software running on endpoints across macOS, Windows, or Linux.
• Experience writing automated end-to-end tests using tools such as Python or Playwright.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Compensation $122,000 to $160,000 USD base pay range, with total package including bonus, equity, and benefits.
