What You'll Be Working On

• Design and develop AI-powered applications and agentic workflows using Python and TypeScript.
• Build backend services and integrations using Node.js and modern development frameworks.
• Help define requirements and translate business opportunities into practical AI solutions.
• Explore how AI agents can use tools, access information, coordinate tasks, and automate complex workflows.
• Evaluate AI models, SDKs, and development approaches as the team determines its technology stack.
• Work with cloud-based AI services, potentially including OpenAI technologies and relevant cloud SDKs.
• Build and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Use Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices to support scalable, repeatable environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to prototype ideas, test assumptions, and bring solutions into production.
• Help establish best practices for testing, reliability, security, and responsible AI implementation.
• Stay current with new developments in agentic AI, LLMs, and AI engineering, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

What We're Looking For

• 1-2+ years of professional software development experience with a strong engineering foundation.
• Hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and building APIs, backend services, or application integrations.
• A genuine passion for AI, particularly LLMs, AI agents, and intelligent automation.
• Interest in building AI applications that go beyond simple prompts and basic chatbot functionality.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, or experience working with containerized applications and modern infrastructure.
• Willingness to explore evolving AI tooling, SDKs, and frameworks as the team's architecture takes shape.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn loosely defined ideas into working software.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to experiment, learn, and iterate.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business teams.

Experience with agent frameworks, LLM integrations, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI-powered automation is a plus. You don't need to have worked with every emerging AI framework, but you should be excited to learn and build.
