Software Engineer (AI Applications)

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications using modern engineering practices.

·       Build and maintain backend services using Python, Flask, REST APIs, and relational databases.

·       Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, Vue, or similar frameworks.

·       Integrate applications with manufacturing databases, APIs, dashboards, and enterprise systems.

·       Develop reusable software components, services, and workflows.

·       Support the development and integration of AI-powered capabilities, including RAG, AI assistants, and agent-based workflows.

·       Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and manufacturing subject matter experts to deliver business solutions.

·       Participate in code reviews, defect triage, performance tuning, and continuous improvement activities.

·       Follow software engineering, cybersecurity, data governance, and Responsible AI best practices.

·       Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing to deliver features safely and efficiently.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering with Data Science or a related field.

·       Experience with Python & Flask for backend software development.

·       Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Angular, React, or Vue).

·       Experience working with SQL, relational databases, and structured data.

·       Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

·       Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software development practices.

·       Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

·       Interest in learning and applying Generative AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience building full-stack web applications and enterprise software solutions.

·       Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

·       Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and related services.

·       Experience with Generative AI technologies, RAG systems, AI assistants, or agent-based applications.

·       Exposure to agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Pydantic AI, or similar technologies.

·       Familiarity with MCP, tool calling, or workflow automation concepts.

·       Exposure to manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environments.

·       No prior semiconductor manufacturing experience is required. Candidates with strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in AI are encouraged to apply.
