Cocient connects experienced software engineers with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Teach frontier AI models how experienced engineers really build software: architecture, trade-offs and debugging
• Give models realistic, production-style problems and critique their solutions the way you would in a code review
• Help shape the coding tools that developers will increasingly rely on

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Substantial professional software engineering experience
• Strong command of one or more major programming languages, plus system design, testing and debugging
• Clear, precise written English
• A degree in computer science or a related field, or open-source contributions, is a plus

THE DETAILS

• Fully remote; set your own hours
• Independent contractor
• Paid hourly between $70 and $150 depending on experience level
• You must be 18 or older

Pay: $70.00 - $150.00 per hour
