Software Engineer – Automation Tester

About the role

A Software Engineer or QA Automation Tester role with strong experience in Playwright and TypeScript, handling a testing workload consisting of approximately 60–70% automation testing and 30–40% manual testing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
• Perform both automation testing (60–70%) and manual testing (30–40%)
• Design and implement effective test scenarios, test cases, and automation frameworks
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Analyze test results and provide clear reports on software quality
• Collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage

About you

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, or Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience in both automation and manual testing
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
