Software Engineer (Backend)

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to build and maintain high-performing cloud applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features, optimize performance, and scale our AWS infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, high-quality backend applications within the AWS cloud environment.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and ship new features.
• Optimization & Maintenance: Identify system bottlenecks, debug issues, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal application performance and responsiveness.
• Code Quality & Automation: Maintain high standards of code organization, support automation initiatives, and implement thorough technical documentation.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and C#.
• Cloud & Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, API Gateway, RDS) and the ability to write SQL and MongoDB queries for data validation.
• Architecture & Testing: Familiarity with building RESTful APIs, writing Unit Tests, and applying Test/User-Driven Development practices.
• Soft Skills & Methodology: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a resourceful mindset, and the ability to work independently within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
