Software Engineer – Backend

Location: Remote (India based)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 3 - 6 years

Working Hours: Candidates must be available to work a minimum of four evening hours to ensure overlap with our US-based team, typically between 8:00 PM–12:00 AM or 9:00 PM–1:00 AM IST.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to own and scale our Azure-based backend infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys working across CI/CD, cloud storage, databases, and .NET services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build maintain and scale WebServices, REST APIs, databases etc.

• Build maintain and own Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.

• Manage self-hosted agents, focusing on performance, disk management, and reliability.

• Work with Azure Blob Storage, including file transfers and performance improvements.

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases and stored procedures.

• Develop and support C# / .NET backend services and REST APIs.

• Own deployments across environments, ensuring safe rollout and rollback strategies.

• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure and backend services.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• SOLID experience with C# building scalable applicaitons.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure CI/CD and YAML pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Azure Blob Storage.

• Good working knowledge of SQL Server, including queries, indexing, and stored procedures.

• Proficiency with Entity Framework.

• Ability to independently debug, optimize, and take ownership of technical challenges.

BONUS POINTS

• Experience building REST API-based applications.

• Experience developing or experimenting with Unity3D applications or games.

• Familiarity with shader programming or other 3D graphics libraries.
