Software Engineer - Backend Engineer (Python)

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in Python and FastAPI to build scalable backend services, REST APIs and event-driven microservices powering Infinity Learns digital learning products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend services, APIs and microservices using Python & FastAPI.
• Build and optimize PostgreSQL/SQL databases, queries, schemas and indexing.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, S3 and SQS.
• Design reliable APIs, service architectures and event-driven workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable Python code.
• Troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks and service failures.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Data and Frontend teams.
• Support deployment, monitoring, observability and production operations.
