Software Engineer, Business Applications

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer, Business Applications to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role focuses on building and supporting the internal business applications that help teams work more efficiently and effectively. You will design secure, scalable CRM solutions, translate business needs into technical implementation plans, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable systems. The position also involves developing integrations, contributing to architecture discussions, and owning projects from initial requirements through ongoing support.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $115,000 – $168,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CRM and business application solutions to enhance business operations
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and implementation plans
• Develop custom capabilities and integrations using platform features and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define secure and reliable solutions
• Build integrations between business applications and other systems and services
• Participate in architecture reviews and discuss design choices with both technical and non-technical partners
• Own projects through their lifecycle, balancing immediate needs with long-term sustainability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or business applications engineering experience
• Strong background in Salesforce or CRM business applications
• Proficiency in Salesforce development technologies like Apex and Lightning Web Components
• Experience integrating CRM systems with applications such as Zendesk and other systems
• Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CRM Analytics
• Ability to design maintainable solutions with minimal supervision
• Well-versed in Agile delivery methodologies
