About the Role:

My client is looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong development experience in both C++ and Python to join our buy-side firm in Hong Kong. This role is a great opportunity for candidates from technology companies who are eager to transition into the financial sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-performance trading and analytics software using C++ and Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quants and traders
• Optimize and maintain existing codebases for performance and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement processes

Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of software development experience with C++ and Python
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Mandarin language skills are a plus but not mandatory
• Background in tech industry preferred, with strong interest in finance
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
