Software Engineer - Chemical Analysis Instruments

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for chemical analysis instruments using Delphi and C++.
• Collaborate with chemists, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement algorithms for data acquisition, processing, and visualization, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
• Debug, test, and optimize software to meet performance and quality standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in chemical instrumentation and software development. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in the scientific or instrumentation industry.
• Proficiency in Delphi and C++ programming languages.
• Strong understanding of chemical principles and experience working with chemical analysis instruments (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy, etc.).
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with experience in algorithm development and data processing.
• Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration in a global team environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills:
• Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA) for scientific instrumentation software.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
