Software Engineer

Sails Software Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Salesforce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will also participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and continuously improving our development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom applications and features on the Salesforce platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Implement best practices for Salesforce development, including documentation and version control.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases and best practices, ensuring our solutions leverage the latest features.

Skills and Tools Required:

• Extensive experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

• Proficiency in Salesforce APIs and integration techniques (REST, SOAP).

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security model.

• Experience with Salesforce administration tasks and tools.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Architect are a plus.
