Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for application development.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases by refactoring code and optimizing performance across front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between different systems and platforms.
• Manage version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and facilitate collaboration.
• Work with cloud services such as AWS and Azure to deploy applications securely and efficiently in cloud environments.
• Write SQL queries for database management using MySQL or SQL Server, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues across Linux and Windows environments, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying current with emerging technologies like RESTful services,.NET frameworks, VBA scripting, and application development best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, or C.
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles along with experience working on user interface design.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, or Git for collaborative coding projects.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of REST APIs for integrating different systems effectively.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL or SQL Server for data management tasks.
• Experience working within Linux or Windows operating environments is preferred.
• Ability to develop applications using.NET frameworks and VBA scripting is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
