Software Engineer

Job Summary

This role exists to design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Microsoft technologies, enabling the company to deliver reliable and high-performance financial solutions that support business growth and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior team members and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Support the development and maintenance of data access layers using Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and Dapper.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of microservices and microapps for scalable application development.
• Use Git and Azure DevOps pipelines for source control, build management, and deployment activities.
• Participate in peer code reviews and learn from feedback shared by senior developers and team leads.
• Support application performance improvement activities through efficient coding and optimization techniques.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of development activities.
• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices to enhance technical skills and contribute effectively to the team.

Key Decisions / Dimensions

• Making decisions on validation logic, input sanitization, and security practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Implementing effective error-handling mechanisms and deciding on logging strategies for easier debugging and monitoring.
• Identifying bottlenecks and applying caching, asynchronous processing, or query optimization to enhance performance.

Major Challenges

• The role involves working within tight deadlines while learning to deliver high-quality solutions. It requires adapting to new and evolving technologies, as well as gaining experience in handling moderately complex systems. It also involves developing ownership of assigned tasks end-to-end over time.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Qualifications
• Should have strong knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming, Analysis and Design Concepts.
• Should have extensive experience in product/application development using Microsoft stack.
• Should have experience in developing applications using design principle/patterns and architecture design patterns like MVC and MVVM.
• Should have knowledge in asynchronous programming practices using .Net Task Parallel concepts.
• Should have experience in writing data access code using Microsoft Entity Framework.
• Preference Experience in Financial Domain.
• Experience should be between 2 to 3 years
