Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Competent full stack developer with working knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Building client-facing web-based applications using multiple software development process models (e.g., Agile, Prototype, Iterative) and following the SDLC for web apps.
• Utilize open-source frameworks/APIs, contribute to API development, and implement business logic with guidance, including integration with databases.
• Work with development tools such as Amazon Web Services, Docker, Spring, Node.js, RDBMS, MongoDB, or similar technologies as needed.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and focused on contributing to customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science is good but not required. Portfolio of open-source work (on GitHub) is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in web application development, or relevant projects demonstrated on GitHub.
• Strong proficiency in Spring or Java as a core back-end technology, alongside good knowledge of front-end technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Real-world development experience and knowledge of some of the following: Java, Spring, ReactJS, Node.js, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Docker, and AWS.
• Experience with some of the following: AWS, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Spring, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB would be a great advantage
• Enthusiastic about exploring emerging technologies and delivering high-quality, efficient software solutions.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Good interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
