Job Description

• Develop and manage technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs, particularly within the IT department.

• Demonstrate strong web programming skills to configure robust solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform and provide informed recommendations to stakeholders.

• Apply innovative technologies to enhance business processes, develop new solutions, and troubleshoot issues.

• Collaborate with process leaders to design and implement appropriate technical solutions in ServiceNow.

• Monitor open development tasks and provide timely status updates to project managers.

• Advise on options, risks, and impacts related to business and ITIL processes.

• Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of web-based development languages, especially JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.

• Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Understanding of the full application development lifecycle.

• ITIL and/or ServiceNow certification.

• Experience working with leading ITSM tool providers.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation or development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

• Proficiency with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager, and Jira Service Management.

• Knowledge of Service Integration and Management (SIAM).

• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

• Understanding of cloud service management (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to ITSM.

• Vendor management experience.
