Software Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer to maintain and enhance a production platform powering personalised digital services. You will work across backend services, web applications, data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable and secure. Why Join Us

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack applications, APIs and platform services.
• Deliver new features, bug fixes and code improvements while maintaining engineering quality.
• Build user-facing interfaces and integrate them with backend systems.
• Maintain reliable production systems, data pipelines and scheduled processing workflows.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and support incident resolution.
• Manage cloud deployments, system upgrades, security patches and infrastructure optimisation.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with the ability to work across frontend and backend systems with development experience in Python.
• Experience developing modern web applications and integrating frontend applications with APIs.
• Experience operating production services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, alerting and incident management.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark; exposure to Databricks or Airflow would be advantageous.
• Exposure to machine-learning, LLM or recommendation systems in production would be advantageous.
