Job Title: Software Engineer

Location-Chicago,IL

12 + Months contracts

Essential Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for applying engineering principles to the development of software for new control programs, reliable electronic control algorithms, and documentation needed to manufacture products.

Partners with Sales & Marketing on customer inquiries, quotes, and new product specifications.

Directly responsible for investigating and determining resolution for manufacturing product assembly and/or test procedures.

Partners with project managers to provide leadership, direction, and supervision to engineering team members as necessary.

Partners with and supports engineering teams to resolve manufacturing related product issues and procedures used to develop new products.

Partners with other engineering teams to create test instructions, orchestrate new product development activities and coordination of agency compliance.

Successfully executes and completes various tasks and projects to include but not limited to generating BOM’s lists, ECN’s for product/parts, parts/assembly drawings, provide AJA part numbers for parts and assemblies, and creating/completing documentation for ECR’s.

Ensures effective communication is maintained with all Team Leaders/Members, and adheres to safety policies and procedures.

Maintains clean and functional work stations as well as common areas.

Performs other related duties as assigned by Team Leader(s).

Ability to differentiate colors, read blueprints/schematics, and possess basic electromechanical abilities

Must work well independently and in a team, be self-motivated, and work effectively in a multi-task environment

Computer Literate: MS Office, MRP, QAD
