The Qualifications We Seek

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Skills & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of software engineering or related technical experience
• More than 3 years of hands-on Ruby on Rails development experience , particularly with versions 4 and 5
• More than 3 years of front-end development experience using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Proficiency in Delayed Jobs, Bootstrap, GitHub, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Microsoft frameworks and SQL databases
• Strong knowledge of testing tools such as RSpec and Cucumber
• Willingness to work on a project-based engagement under a night shift schedule

Your Daily Tasks

• Build new features from the product roadmap using efficient Ruby code and established design patterns
• Maintain and enhance existing code, tests, and application features
• Integrate third-party software through SOAP and REST APIs
• Plan and develop efficient UX/UI for new and existing features
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale solutions aligned with business strategies and goals
• Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and processes to deliver new business capabilities
• Collaborate with technical teams to define specifications for new applications
• Write high-quality, well-documented code and deliver complete applications on schedule
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Perform unit and integration tests before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional tests
• Perform software design and code reviews
• Resolve development and maintenance change requests
• Integrate applications with third-party products and existing IT infrastructure
• Support clients throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide high-value technical consulting services
• Expand technical expertise across new products, technologies, and software versions
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements, provide feedback, and clarify specifications
• Review requirements and data models and translate them into reliable applications and architecture
• Track and resolve software defects
