Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Implement and customise solutions on the Infosys DEH platform, including its integrations and configuration.
• Build, consume and integrate REST APIs and web services (SOAP/REST) with internal and third-party systems.
• Write and tune SQL queries, stored procedures and schemas for reliable, performant data access.
• Apply J2SE/J2EE best practices, design patterns and clean-code standards across the codebase.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers and help raise engineering quality.
• Work with product owners, architects and QA to refine requirements and deliver on sprint commitments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and document fixes and technical designs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Prior project experience on DEH is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and integration.
