Formed through a strategic joint venture between a global management consultancy and a leading alternative investment fund manager, this engineering consultancy creates bespoke, high-performance technology solutions for leading institutions across banking, financial services, private equity, and defence.

Rather than working in isolation in back-office ticketing systems, you will operate hand-in-hand with business stakeholders and domain experts to tackle complex technical challenges directly linked to world markets and global events.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Ownership: Assume early responsibility for designing, developing, and deploying resilient software from conception through release.

Direct Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with end users and subject matter experts to translate complex operational needs into pragmatic, clean software architectures.

System Innovation: Continually evaluate and challenge existing processes, applying cutting-edge engineering standards to optimize performance.

Continuous Technical Learning: Stay ahead of evolving language features, frameworks, and architecture trends to keep delivery standards at the cutting edge.

What You Bring

• Core Programming Strength: Extensive, hands-on experience in at least one modern language - primarily C#/.NET, Java, Rust, or Python .
• Academic Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related STEM field (minimum 3.3 GPA or equivalent, ideally from a top-tier institution).
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, self-directed attitude with an urge to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to articulate technical trade-offs clearly to both engineering colleagues and business users.
• Domain Exposure (Advantageous): Previous exposure to financial services, risk systems, or consulting environments is a plus, but not mandatory.
