Software Engineer

Title: Software Engineer

Contract Duration: 1 year to start with possible extension

Location: Mexico, Fully Remote (PST hours)

Job responsibilities:

• Build, modify, and optimize large scale ETL data pipelines to scale ML-powered production adoption programs. Write robust SQL scripts and Python data extraction workflows
• Connect and manage the output of ML propensity models with front-end CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft)
• Manage and configure automatic sales account assignment and unassignment rules based on customer behavior and sales territory changes
• Triage product or system issues and debug / track / resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on or service operations and quality
• Partner with Data Science and partner engineering teams (Google Cloud) to deploy new ML models, manage code reviews/CL submissions, and conduct local testing on the CRM tools' backend pipelines
• Implement treatment and control groups for A/B testing. Design and maintain complex reporting dashboards to monitor GTM campaign metrics
• Thoroughly document all pipeline rules, codebase updates, and analytical workflows to ensure knowledge retention within the team

Key skills and qualifications:

• Strong SQL skills for extracting, manipulating, and cleaning data from massive, complex databases
• Strong Python scripting proficiency for building automated data flows, ETL workflows, and integrating systems
• Hands-on experience with pipeline scheduling and management tools (Airflow, Cron, or Google's internal equivalents like Jetstream and Plx)
• Practical experience with Salesforce (Vector), sales engagement platforms (Salesloft), or database-driven CRM routing systems
• 3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Program Managers, Sales Leads, and Data Scientists
• Strong communication skills
