Software Engineer

Our client, a prominent technology services enterprise, is seeking a Senior Developer. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, enhancement, and production support of enterprise applications spanning full-stack web architectures, core Java microservices, and high-performance Oracle Database environments. The developer will work across the full application lifecycle—optimizing complex SQL/database logic, building secure Spring Boot REST APIs, refactoring modern React/Next.js interfaces, and driving legacy platform modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering & Database Optimization

• Java & Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications and RESTful microservices using Spring Boot, implementing business logic and secure service-layer integrations.
• Oracle Database Engineering: Write, analyze, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data-intensive batch operations; maintain relational data models and database objects.
• API Governance & Security: Develop and consume RESTful APIs, implementing modern authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT) and seamless third-party platform integrations.

Frontend Engineering & Legacy Application Modernization

• Modern Web Development: Develop and maintain responsive frontend interfaces utilizing React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Oracle APEX & Platform Support: Support and develop applications built on Oracle APEX, ensuring operational stability and platform alignment.
• Legacy Refactoring: Analyze legacy codebases (including legacy testing, measurement, and CRM/Salesforce-integrated systems), systematically reducing technical debt and executing platform modernization strategies.

Delivery, Operations & Quality Assurance

• Application Lifecycle Support: Drive hands-on coding, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production incident resolution across all application layers (frontend, backend, and database).
• Agile & DevOps Practice: Participate in Agile sprint cycles, perform code reviews, maintain version control strategies, and leverage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and continuous deployment.

Requirements

Education & Professional Experience

• Professional Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on software development experience delivering enterprise applications across Java and Oracle Database environments.
• Full Lifecycle Expertise: Proven track record spanning application design, hands-on coding, continuous delivery, and Tier-3 operational support.

Technical Competencies

• Backend Stack: Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework for building scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Database Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL optimization, data modeling, and application-to-database performance tuning.
• Frontend Frameworks: Hands-on development experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries.
• Low-Code & Integration: Direct experience or working familiarity with Oracle APEX application development and maintenance.
• Security & Integration: Experience with API authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT) and integration with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, legacy measurement systems).
• DevOps & Agile: Working knowledge of CI/CD delivery pipelines, Git branching strategies, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
