C++ Software Developer

On behalf of one of our clients, We are looking for an experienced C++ Software Developer for an exciting project in a highly specialized R&D environment. The opportunity is open to both freelance consultants and candidates interested in a project-based employment with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position .

You will become part of an experienced development team focused on creating robust, well-designed, and high-quality software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development in modern C++
• Software design and software architecture
• Working with design patterns and SOLID principles
• Design for Testability
• Unit testing and integration testing
• Version control and collaboration using Git
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality throughout the software development lifecycle

We are looking for someone with:

• Solid experience with modern C++
• Strong skills in software design and software architecture
• Experience with SOLID principles and design patterns
• A strong quality mindset
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative development
• An understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, beyond just writing code

Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, and build and test pipelines is considered an advantage.

Your background may include embedded software, but first and foremost, we are looking for a strong software developer. The key focus is therefore on your expertise within C++, software design, architecture, quality, and testing.
